Lingchu Intelligence recently completed a new round of financing, with investments from SDIC Advanced Manufacturing Fund and Jingxi Ruiling. SDIC Advanced Manufacturing Fund is a state-owned investment institution focused on hard-tech and strategic emerging industries. Jingxi Ruiling was jointly initiated by Beijing’s state-owned capital platform and Mentougou District, with Jingguorui and Hillhouse YUQING serving as co-general partners, concentrating on artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing. Founded in 2024, Lingchu Intelligence aims to solve the challenge of dexterous manipulation in embodied intelligence. The company has built a software toolchain centered around an end-to-end Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model and leverages its self-developed Psi-SynEngine embodied data collection engine to efficiently acquire real-world interaction data at reduced costs. It has already completed small-scale scenario validation in real logistics warehouses, achieving improved sorting efficiency. The new funding will be used for core technology R&D and commercialization, including model iteration, large-scale deployment of dexterous manipulation solutions, and construction of a human-data collection system. By 2026, the company plans to build the largest dexterous-hand dataset in China. On April 10, 2025, Lingchu Intelligence released its human-data-pretrained large models, Psi-R2 and Psi-W0, and open-sourced its first batch of 1,000 hours of multimodal human hand-operation data. This dataset encompasses four modalities—vision, language, joint angles, and tactile information—collected using the company’s proprietary exoskeleton gloves, with sub-millimeter 3D trajectory accuracy. It covers diverse tasks such as industrial assembly, daily-life operations, and object grasping. To date, the company has accumulated 100,000 hours of data, making it the industry’s largest open-source multimodal dataset of human hand operations.
