The 2026 U7 from Yangwang has officially launched, integrating advanced technologies across multiple domains including electrification, intelligence, and chassis control. The EV variant is equipped with a 150.01 kWh second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 1,006 km. The PHEV version features a 52.4 kWh battery, offering over 300 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,100 km. The vehicle employs flash-charging technology: the EV model supports a peak DC fast-charging power of 640 kW, adding 503 km of range in just 10 minutes. The PHEV model supports a 9C charging rate, charging from 10% to 97% in under 9 minutes. The charging system operates effectively across a wide temperature range—charging time at -30°C is only three minutes longer than under normal temperatures. Powertrain-wise, the U7 is built on the Yi Si Fang platform and features four in-wheel motors, delivering a total maximum output of 1,360 horsepower. The EV version accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h. The system enables millisecond-level independent torque control for each wheel and supports unlimited launch control starts. The PHEV variant is powered by China’s first mass-produced horizontally opposed 2.0T engine, producing a maximum net power of 180 kW and peak net torque of 380 N·m, complemented by rear-wheel steering with ±10° of movement. Two chassis configurations are available: Yun Nian-Z, the world’s first magnetically levitated motor-driven suspension, actively adjusts stiffness, damping, and ride height while also recovering vibrational energy; Yun Nian-A+ combines dual-chamber air springs with dual-valve hydraulic dampers to balance comfort and handling stability. In terms of intelligent features, the U7 is equipped with the “Eyes of God” A intelligent driving assistance system (three-laser version, i.e., 5.0), AI-powered full-scenario voice control, Nappa leather seats, and a Dynaudio Platinum Evidence-series audio system with 23 speakers. Through deep integration of battery, charging, powertrain, chassis, and intelligent systems, the U7 achieves coordinated control across longitudinal, lateral, and vertical dimensions—marking a shift in the premium electric sedan segment from competition based on individual specifications to holistic engineering capability.
