The Leapmotor Lafa5 Ultra will officially launch at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. The model features an exclusive sport package—including a front splitter, side skirts with aerodynamic fins, a rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser—giving it a distinct appearance compared to the standard version. It adopts flush door handles, paired with 19-inch gunmetal-gray "sweeping-wing" alloy wheels and matte metallic dark gray brake calipers. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in "Chasing Wind Gray" suede-like material, covering a soft-touch area of 4.48 square meters. It comes equipped with Ultra-specific sport seats, seat belts featuring body-color accents, and aluminum sill plates. Ventilation and heating functions are available for the front seats. For added comfort, it offers class-exclusive 8-point front-seat massage functionality. Under the hood, the Lafa5 Ultra is powered by a high-output electric motor delivering 180 kW—surpassing the standard version’s 160 kW motor. Its chassis has been jointly tuned by Chinese and European teams to balance sporty handling with everyday ride comfort. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with dual flagship chips—Qualcomm SA8295 and SA8650—as well as LiDAR, enabling nationwide urban Navigation-Assisted Pilot (NAP) functionality that operates without reliance on high-definition maps. Display vehicles have already begun arriving at dealerships across the country.
