The all-new Roewe i6 has officially launched its pre-sale, positioned as a compact gasoline-powered sedan. It is offered in three trim levels: Changjiu, Haojiu, and Zhenjiu, with pre-sale prices of RMB 74,900, RMB 79,900, and RMB 84,900 respectively. Limited-time reservation prices are set at RMB 65,900, RMB 70,900, and RMB 75,900 respectively. The new model adopts Roewe’s latest design language, featuring a vertical-slat grille and a full-width light bar at the front. At the rear, it sports full-width taillights and a small spoiler. The vehicle measures 4,767 mm in length, 1,828 mm in width, and 1,498 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. Traditional pull-type door handles are used, and both the front and rear feature “ROEWE” lettering instead of the conventional emblem. Under the hood, all variants are powered by SAIC Motor’s self-developed 1.5L all-aluminum engine paired with a CVT transmission. The engine incorporates direct fuel injection technology derived from turbocharged engines, delivering a maximum output of 95 kW and peak torque of 158 N·m. The WLTC-rated combined fuel consumption is as low as 5.96 L/100 km. Inside, the Changjiu trim comes with a 10.25-inch center touchscreen, while the other trims feature a larger 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution display. All versions adopt a two-spoke steering wheel and a column-mounted gear shifter. The infotainment system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and supports dual-zone voice recognition, along with smartphone connectivity via Huawei HiCar, CarLink, Apple CarPlay, and Baidu CarLife. Below the center screen lies a multi-tier storage compartment, officially dubbed the “Treasure Bowl Center Console.” In terms of standard equipment, all trims include LED headlights (low and high beam), automatic headlights, headlight height adjustment, power windows for all doors, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, synthetic leather seats, driver and front passenger vanity mirrors, automatic climate control, PM2.5 air filtration, and cruise control. Compared to the Changjiu, the Haojiu adds the 15.6-inch center screen, multi-finger screen-swiping functionality, an app store, Wi-Fi hotspot, dual-zone voice recognition, and side airbags. The top-tier Zhenjiu further adds a 50W wireless charging pad and power-adjustable front passenger seat.
