The Chery Exeed EX7 SUV will officially launch on April 19, two days later than the originally scheduled date of April 17. The model will be available in both all-electric and range-extended variants and debuts an aerospace-grade electro-mechanical brake-by-wire system (EMB). Customers who pay a deposit of RMB 999 can redeem it for RMB 2,999 off the purchase price. In terms of exterior design, the EX7 adopts Exeed’s latest family design language, featuring split headlights at the front: an upper section with a full-width LED light strip and a lower section integrated with a continuous chrome accent. The side profile showcases muscular lines and flush door handles. At the rear, a full-width light strip is complemented by a distinctive “Smart Driving Blue Light” badge. Inside, the cabin features a 30-inch integrated LCD screen, an oval-shaped two-spoke steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. Additional amenities include wireless smartphone charging for front passengers, a streaming rearview mirror, dual cup holders, leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and rear air-conditioning vents. The vehicle measures 4,988 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Powertrain options include a 1.5T range-extender system for the extended-range variant, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 115 kW. It comes in two battery capacity versions—39.816 kWh and 39.9168 kWh—offering CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 182 km and 203 km, respectively. The all-electric version features dual motors (front and rear), with the front motor producing a peak power of 123 kW and the rear motor 230 kW. Equipped with a 97.682 kWh battery pack, it achieves a CLTC range between 682 km and 726 km.
