Tolman Engineering has completed a one-off, high-precision restoration project on a Honda Integra Type R. Rather than transforming the car into a typical restomod, the team restored it to a condition "better than new" while preserving its original design characteristics. During the restoration, the team addressed areas of body corrosion, replaced structural components, and added sound-deadening material in appropriate locations. The entire vehicle was repainted in Sorrento Green to match the owner’s Tolman-spec Peugeot 205 GTI. All rubber seals and trim pieces were replaced with new items. Mechanically, the original B18C four-cylinder engine was rebuilt and dyno-tested to confirm it delivers the factory-rated output of 190 horsepower. The suspension was fully refurbished, the 15-inch Enkei wheels were re-polished, and Michelin tires were fitted. Following completion, the car underwent a 100-mile road test to verify overall performance. The entire project required 740 hours of work.
