Geely Holding Group reported total sales of 937,927 vehicles in the first quarter of 2026, including 491,006 new energy vehicles (NEVs), up 5.8% year-over-year, representing a NEV penetration rate of 52.4%. Geely Auto, a subsidiary of the group, achieved record-high Q1 sales of 709,358 vehicles, with NEV sales reaching 369,059 units—a 9% year-over-year increase—and a NEV penetration rate of 52%. Overseas exports surged 126% year-over-year to 203,024 units, setting a new historical high. By brand, Geely’s China Star series sold 311,800 units in Q1, while the Galaxy series exceeded 238,800 units in sales and surpassed the 2 million cumulative sales milestone within just 37 months. Lynk & Co posted Q1 sales of over 81,600 units, up 12% year-over-year. Zeekr delivered 77,000 vehicles, a 86% year-over-year increase. Proton recorded sales of 49,000 units—the highest for the same period since 2004. Polestar sold 13,126 vehicles, up 7% year-over-year and marking a new record for the same period in its history. Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group sold more than 28,000 units, an increase of 5.2% year-over-year.
