Zeekr Unveils SEA-S Super Hybrid Architecture, Breaks into Premium Market

Zeekr has unveiled the SEA-S Super Hybrid Architecture, addressing key shortcomings in mainstream hybrid technologies and introducing a new R&D approach. The architecture features four core technologies: a full-stack 900V high-voltage system paired with a megawatt-class electric drive system; an energy strategy system integrating three powertrain configurations; the industry’s first ten-source heat pump system; and an AI-powered, full-scenario large-model energy management system. The Zeekr 9X, built on this architecture, has topped sales charts for large SUVs priced around RMB 500,000 for five consecutive months, with an average transaction price exceeding RMB 530,000 per unit. Over 80% of its buyers have switched from traditional luxury brands, and the model has already gained recognition among premium customers in overseas markets. Zeekr stated it will continue advancing hybrid technology innovation to support the technological upgrading of China’s automotive industry.
