XPeng has unveiled the interior design and technical specifications of its flagship SUV, the XPeng GX. Dubbed the “Cosmic Quantum First-Class Cabin,” the interior features a “Pilot Floating Center Console” integrating a retractable charging panel and concealed cup holders. The door panels showcase a “Starry Sky Horizon” design, complete with an ambient full-length starlight strip and perforated leather that allows light to shine through. The vehicle is equipped with a “Cosmic Steer-by-Wire Steering Wheel,” offering 135mm of electric telescopic adjustment and intelligent welcome functionality. It also includes a 17.3-inch 3K ultra-narrow-bezel display and the Lingjing AI Sound Max audio system with 33 speakers. The seating layout accommodates six passengers across three rows, with all rows featuring reclining capabilities—“All Three Rows Recline.” The front passenger seat is upholstered in NAPPA leather and offers 16-point massage, 16-way power adjustment, ventilation, heating, and heated leg rests. It also integrates seatbelt-mounted and seat-cushion airbags for enhanced safety. The second row features a zero-gravity seat on the right side and an “Aero Comfort Seat” on the left. The third row supports 0–180° electric recline and boasts the segment-exclusive triple-folding electric function, allowing independent 5/5 split folding for versatile cabin configurations—including a spacious four-seat layout delivering up to 1,748 liters of trunk capacity. Measuring 5,265 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, and 1,800 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,115 mm, the GX adopts a long-wheelbase, extended rear overhang, and floating roof design. Externally, it features tri-segment full-width light bars at both front and rear, split headlights, and an active grille at the front fascia. Functional highlights include a dual-action tailgate (opening upward and downward) and a panoramic glass roof. The XPeng GX will be the world’s first production vehicle to feature Bosch’s next-generation steer-by-wire system, natively supporting Level 4 autonomous driving and integrating over 100 functions—a first for any vehicle priced under RMB 500,000. All variants come standard with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The range-extended version is powered by a dedicated 1.5T range-extender engine (maximum output: 110 kW), paired with front and rear motors producing 160 kW and 210 kW respectively. The all-electric variant features front and rear motors rated at 160 kW and 270 kW, with both versions achieving a top speed of 200 km/h. The BEV model delivers a CLTC range of 750 km, while the EREV offers 320 km of pure electric range. The GX has been included in the 28th batch of China’s “Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempt from Purchase Tax.”
