Graco Recalls Over 5,000 Infant Car Seats Sold at Walmart and Target

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a notice that Graco Children's Products is recalling approximately 5,000 Graco SnugRide Turn and Slide infant car seats sold at Walmart and Target. The recall is due to a defect in the seat base’s locking hook, which, under certain crash conditions, could cause the carrier to detach from the base, increasing the risk of injury to the child.
