Since its launch a year ago, the Aito M8 has surpassed 170,000 cumulative deliveries, becoming the best-selling SUV in the RMB 400,000 price segment for the year. Positioned as a mid-to-large-size SUV, the M8 is available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations, with a starting price of RMB 359,800. The Aito M8 is offered in both extended-range electric (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants. The EREV version launched on April 16, 2025, comes in three trims—Max, Max+, and Ultra—with prices ranging from RMB 359,800 to RMB 449,800. It features Huawei’s DriveONE Golden Extended-Range Powertrain, combining a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender with dual motors, delivering a CLTC combined range of 1,526 km and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. The BEV version debuted on August 25, 2025, and is available in three configurations: Max+ Long Range, Max+ AWD, and Ultra, also starting at RMB 359,800. This variant is equipped with Huawei’s DriveONE high-voltage seven-in-one motor system and comes standard with a CATL 100 kWh battery pack. Supporting 800V high-voltage fast charging, it can recharge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of up to 705 km.
