The Leapmotor D19 officially launched on April 16, with a starting price of RMB 219,800. Built on Leapmotor’s flagship D platform, the vehicle is available in both six- and seven-seat configurations, measuring 5,252 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. The new model offers both all-electric and range-extended powertrain options. The range-extended version features an 80.3 kWh CATL hybrid-cell battery pack utilizing CTC (Cell-to-Chassis) technology, delivering a combined system output of 400 kW and wheel-end torque of 7,850 N·m. It achieves a CLTC pure-electric range of 500 km, supports 800V fast charging, and comes equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system. The all-electric variant is powered by a 115 kWh battery, offering a CLTC combined range of 720 km. It features a full-stack 1,000V electric drive system (with only 10% discharge capacity loss at -7°C), a combined system output of 540 kW, wheel-end torque of 8,770 N·m, and integrates a 34-in-1 super thermal management module. In terms of intelligence, the Leapmotor D19 debuts globally with dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chips (delivering 1,280 TOPS of computing power), a centralized cabin-and-driving-domain controller, and the VLA advanced driver-assistance system. The interior adopts a new design language, featuring a standalone instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, a large-size HUD head-up display, and premium ambient lighting with multi-scenario dynamic lighting effects. For cabin amenities, the right-side second-row seat is a true zero-gravity seat equipped with dual foldable tray tables, an overhead entertainment screen, a dedicated function control screen, and an electrically operated refrigerated/warmed mini-fridge. The third row includes dual armrests, one-touch electric folding functionality, and seat heating. Additional interior features include B-pillar grab handles, a wide center armrest, wireless charging pads, and open-storage compartments. The seats feature a 12-layer construction, which the company describes as “luxury-grade.” On safety, the body incorporates 2 GPa ultra-high-strength steel at 16 locations. The chassis is equipped with a dual-chamber closed-loop air suspension and CDC damping system, achieving a torsional rigidity of 50,500 N·m/deg. The top-trim model features a triple-motor vector control system, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 3 seconds, along with capabilities such as dual-wheel blowout stability control, compass turn maneuverability, and the “Lingbo Microstep” driving mode.
