ECARX Appoints Schroeder as Chairman; Shen Ziyu Remains CEO

On April 16, ECARX Holdings announced the appointment of Schroder as Chairman of the company, effective immediately. Shen Ziyu will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Director. The separation of the roles of Chairman and CEO marks an adjustment to the company's corporate governance structure. Schroder has been involved in Volvo’s transformation since 2010 and has held positions at several prominent companies. He joined ECARX’s board in 2025. Founded in 2017 and listed publicly in 2022, ECARX currently operates centers in multiple global locations, with its technology products deployed in over 11 million vehicles.
