The Deepal L06 Extended-Range version officially rolled off the production line on April 17 at Changan’s Digital Intelligence Factory in Chongqing. This model is a collaborative effort between JD Auto and Deepal Auto, with JD Auto responsible for user demand research and automotive consumer experience, while Deepal handles vehicle R&D, design, manufacturing, and after-sales service. The official pricing will be announced on April 23. Positioned as a “golden-proportion rear-wheel-drive coupe,” the Deepal L06 Extended-Range features an automatic rear spoiler that adjusts to multiple height levels based on speed. It is equipped with 3 million sets of magnetorheological suspension systems—the same type used by Ferrari—and promises a ride quality described as “gliding over bumps like ironing.” The vehicle also integrates LiDAR and a 3-nanometer automotive-grade cockpit chip, supporting the industry’s first four-map fused lane-level navigation system. It offers a pure electric range of 245 km, a combined range of up to 1,505 km, and a fuel consumption of approximately 3.46 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. For reference, the all-electric Deepal L06 was launched in November 2023, with a price range of RMB 134,900 to RMB 156,900 (approximately USD 18,700–21,800), and a limited-time promotional price of RMB 132,900 to RMB 154,900. The current all-electric model measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It comes standard with a five-link independent rear suspension and independent suspension at both front and rear axles. The cabin features MediaTek’s debut 3-nanometer Dimensity Cockpit S1 Ultra chip and a 15.6-inch “Sunflower Screen” infotainment display that can swivel flexibly toward either the driver or front passenger. Two battery options deliver pure electric ranges of 560 km and 670 km, respectively. In terms of driver assistance, the vehicle supports 90 ADAS functions, including highway and urban navigation pilot, smart parking, remote parking, and memory parking.
