28 Testing Labs Suspected of Violations in National Oversight Inspection

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), jointly with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Water Resources, the General Administration of Customs, and the National Medical Products Administration, released the results of the 2025 national supervisory inspection of testing and inspection institutions. This inspection covered 13 key sectors, including ecological and environmental monitoring, motor vehicle inspection, food testing, fire protection products, and building insulation materials. A total of 28 institutions were found to be suspected of violating laws and regulations. These include Henan Net Zero Carbon Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Hefei Qinghong Changshun Motor Vehicle Inspection Co., Ltd.; Energy Conservation Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry; China Daily Hardware Technology Development Center; Ningxia Zeruilong Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.; Shenzhen Intertek Quality Technical Services Co., Ltd.; Wuhan Research Institute of Materials Protection Co., Ltd., China Academy of Machinery Science & Technology Group; and the Food Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Yangling) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The relevant issues have been referred to local market regulation authorities for investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
