Standard features on the Viloran R08 PRO include a BorgWarner part-time four-wheel-drive system and front/rear differential locks. It also offers nine terrain driving modes, including ECO, Sport, Snow, and Sand. With an approach angle of 34°, a departure angle of up to 29°, a breakover angle of up to 25°, and a minimum ground clearance of 230 mm, the R08 PRO is further equipped with Crawl Control and Tank Turn functions. In terms of intelligent technology, the R08 PRO comes with an L2-level advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), a 360-degree panoramic camera, and a transparent underbody view. The center console features a 15.6-inch touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting both Apple CarPlay and HUAWEI HiCar smartphone connectivity. The Viloran brand was originally established in 2009 and participated in the Dakar Rally in 2010. In 2025, Chery relaunched the brand, positioning it as a global intelligent pickup ecosystem. The launch of the R08 PRO marks a key step in Chery Viloran’s high-end pickup strategy and forms part of its broader globalization plan. Going forward, Chery Viloran will roll out a full range of pickup models covering all powertrains and usage scenarios.
