Porsche recently completed a lap time test at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a 911 GT3 RS equipped with the Manthey Performance Package, driven by Jörg Bergmeister, achieving a time of 6 minutes and 45.389 seconds. This result is faster than both the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X and the standard 911 GT3 RS without the package (6:49.328), but slower than the Ford Mustang GTD Competition’s newly set record of 6:40.835. The Manthey package—developed by Manthey, Porsche’s Nürburgring-based racing subsidiary—includes extensive aerodynamic and chassis upgrades: a large rear wing, roof fin, enlarged front splitter, side skirt deflectors, and reinforced rear diffuser vanes. According to Porsche, these enhancements increase downforce by 20% at 177 mph (approximately 285 km/h), reaching 2,200 pounds (about 998 kg). On the chassis side, the package adds coilover suspension with stiffer springs, adaptive dampers, and braided brake lines. Priced at $116,160, the package is added on top of the 911 GT3 RS’s base price of $244,995.
