ZhiJie V9 Debuts with Constant-Cool Smart Fridge Featuring Rapid Cooling and Long-Lasting Chill

The Zhiji V9 will debut with an industry-first onboard intelligent refrigerator featuring constant cooling capability. By leveraging the vehicle’s high-displacement air conditioning compressor, the fridge achieves a displacement of 40cc—significantly surpassing the typical 2cc limit of conventional standalone automotive compressors—and dramatically enhancing cooling efficiency. Under an ambient temperature of 32°C, it cools from room temperature to 0°C in just 8 minutes, increasing the cooling rate from the traditional ~7°C per hour to 16°C per hour. Eliminating the need for a separate compressor also frees up valuable cabin space. This refrigerator pioneers the use of phase-change cold-storage technology in the automotive industry. During operation, it stores cold energy, which is then gradually released after power-off. Combined with an on-demand compressor start-stop strategy, this ensures stable, energy-efficient, long-lasting cooling performance. Real-world tests show that even after the vehicle has been completely powered off for 12 hours, salmon inside the fridge remains vividly red, and insulin stays perfectly clear. With a capacity of 10.9 liters, the fridge can hold either eight 500ml bottles of water or sixteen 330ml cans of cola, and supports front-and-rear access for convenient loading and unloading. Its temperature control range spans from -6°C to 15°C for cooling and 35°C to 50°C for heating, meeting year-round usage needs. Users can control it via the central touchscreen, second-row MagLink screen, or voice commands, and it features automatic shutoff based on preset conditions to optimize energy consumption. Beyond the refrigerator, the Zhiji V9 will also be equipped with the world’s highest-specification mass-produced 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR; a 1.5T Huawei “Snowy Owl” intelligent range-extending powertrain delivering over 1,250 km of combined range; and a chassis featuring rear-wheel active steering (with a maximum steering angle of ±7 degrees and a minimum turning radius of 5.35 meters), dual-chamber air suspension, and an integrated onboard oxygen generator. The vehicle is scheduled for official launch and order opening on April 22, with display units arriving at dealerships nationwide later this month.
