On April 18, the Haval Menglong PLUS officially launched its pre-sale, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 189,800 to RMB 215,800. Positioned as a new-energy, all-scenario "boxy" SUV, it is built on the Hi4 intelligent hybrid electric all-wheel-drive system, catering to both urban commuting and light off-road driving needs. The exterior continues the brand’s signature boxy design language, incorporating the design philosophy of “Harmony of Round and Square – Beauty in Angularity.” The overall styling is rugged, featuring a short front overhang, long wheelbase proportions, and rounded edges throughout. The front fascia is equipped with angular LED headlights, a shield-shaped grille, and an illuminated logo. Measuring 4,912 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 1,905 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, the vehicle rides on 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, angular array-style taillights are featured, along with a side-hinged tailgate. Optional extras include an externally mounted spare tire and a “small backpack” storage box. The trunk offers a capacity of 669–1,691 liters and becomes nearly flat when the rear seats are folded down. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping cockpit layout, featuring a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a W-HUD head-up display system. Powered by Coffee OS 3 intelligent cockpit software, it supports voice interaction, seamless smartphone-vehicle connectivity, and multiple scene-based mode switching. Additional features include an onboard refrigerator, a 12-speaker audio system, driver-side headrest speakers, a 50W wireless charger for the front passenger, a foldable tray table, and integrated camping lights. Both front and rear seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions. For driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with the Coffee Pilot 3 system, integrating a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor to enable urban and highway navigation-assisted driving. It also provides memory parking, remote parking, and reverse tracking capabilities. The powertrain combines a 1.5T engine with front and rear dual motors, delivering a combined system output of 330 kW and 660 N·m of torque. Paired with a 44.7 kWh battery pack, it achieves a CLTC-rated pure-electric range of 255 km. The vehicle boasts a maximum gradeability of ≥60% and a wading depth of 580 mm. It is fitted with electronically controlled dampers, offers multiple drive modes, and supports tank turn and crawl modes.
