BYD has officially launched its Zhufeng Town Super Charging Station in Zaxizong Town, Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. Located near the Mount Qomolangma National Nature Reserve, this station is currently the world’s highest-altitude BYD Super Charging Station. Equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, the station can deliver sufficient charge in just 5 minutes and achieve a full charge in 9 minutes. Even in extreme cold conditions as low as -30°C, charging time increases by only about 3 minutes. As of April 16, BYD has built a total of 5,356 Super Charging Stations across 311 cities nationwide and plans to expand this network to 20,000 stations by the end of 2026.
