The first batch of display and test-drive vehicles will begin arriving at NIO stores across the country starting April 21, with specific arrival details to be announced separately. The vehicle is officially scheduled to launch on April 21. The new model introduces a LiDAR-equipped variant while continuing to offer a pure vision version, with its intelligent capabilities set for continuous iterative upgrades. In terms of exterior design, the 2026 L90 debuts two new dual-tone color options—Purple-Gold and Silver-Purple—featuring a "watchtower-style" LiDAR layout. The side mirrors are equipped with blue indicator lights for intelligent driving assistance, and the car rides on newly designed 21-inch multi-spoke Xuanhui wheels, which feature a radial multi-spoke pattern and a black-and-silver two-tone finish. Regarding powertrain and intelligent features, the new vehicle is confirmed to be equipped with the high-end intelligent driving chip "Shenji NX9031" and the latest "NIO World Model (NWM)." Notably, the Shenji NX9031 is the industry’s first high-end automotive-grade intelligent driving chip manufactured using a 5nm process, with cumulative shipments exceeding 200,000 units since its production launch.
