In the first quarter of this year, exports of the so-called "new trio" products—electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and solar cells—rose by 77.5%, 50.4%, and 30.5% year-on-year, respectively. At this year's Canton Fair, green and smart new products have drawn significant attention, with over 4.65 million exhibits on display, of which 22% are eco-friendly products. The fair also featured several new products rarely seen on export lists before, such as a fully electric road sweeper less than 1.2 meters wide—the narrowest in its class—with an energy consumption as low as 0.6 kWh per kilometer.
