The third-generation BYD Yuan PLUS has been included in the latest batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) catalog of new energy vehicles eligible for purchase tax exemption and is scheduled to make its global debut at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Positioned as a "Yuan Power Smart & Fun Ultra-Fast Charging SUV," the vehicle will be offered in two battery capacity variants—57.545 kWh and 68.547 kWh—delivering CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 540 km and 630 km, respectively. It measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. Power comes from a rear-mounted single motor, available in two maximum output versions: 200 kW and 240 kW. The new model is expected to feature BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and its proprietary ultra-fast charging technology.
