Chery Automobile has announced that its "New Fuel Night" event will be held on April 22, when the all-new generation Tiggo 9 will officially launch. The vehicle’s exterior and interior were unveiled in March, and it will be offered in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations. Exterior-wise, the front fascia adopts a cleaner design language, featuring a grille with reduced-density chrome accents. The headlights have been upgraded to larger dual L-shaped daytime running lights, and the side air intakes have been enlarged. The vehicle measures 4,853 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,730 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm—retaining the silhouette of the current model. The front fender chrome trim has been revised, hidden door handles are now standard, and customers can choose from 18-inch, 19-inch, or 20-inch wheel options. At the rear, the full-width taillights have been refined, and the rear bumper, dual-exit exhaust accents, and spoiler have all received updated designs. Inside, the dashboard has been completely redesigned, featuring a larger central infotainment screen paired with a passenger-side entertainment display in a dual-screen layout. The steering wheel features a new造型 and integrates a column-mounted gear shifter, while the air vent design has also been updated. Seats are finished with diamond-quilted stitching, the number of door-mounted speakers has increased, and power seat controls have been relocated to the seat itself. The front passenger seat includes a “Queen Seat” function, expected to offer comfort features such as a zero-gravity seating position. Under the hood, the new Tiggo 9 is powered by a SQRF4J20C 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing a maximum output of 192 kW (261 hp) and peak torque of 400 N·m.
