The Qijing GT7 has received approval from the Guangzhou municipal government for L3-level autonomous driving testing in specific scenarios and will undergo trials on designated expressways and highways in Guangzhou. Co-developed by GAC and Huawei’s Qiankun, the vehicle is positioned as an intelligent shooting brake model. Its market launch event is scheduled for June 2024, where the official pricing, specifications, and delivery details will be unveiled. The company aims to enable immediate deliveries upon launch, with actual delivery timelines dependent on vehicle configurations, order finalization, and confirmation of delivery arrangements. The new model integrates multiple advanced intelligent technologies, including the world’s highest-specification mass-produced 896-line LiDAR, a pre-installed Huawei Qiankun L3-grade intelligent driving architecture, full-chain redundancy and comprehensive safety systems, the next-generation XiaoYi AI agent, HUAWEI SOUND AI interactive Star Ring Diffuser, and Huawei’s Qiankun Chitu platform. Detailed technical specifications will be officially disclosed at a technology launch event during the Beijing Auto Show on April 24 at 10:00 AM.
