Great Wall Motor recently released official images of the Great Wall Poer Hi4-T and announced that pre-sales for this new energy pickup will commence at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens on April 24. The pre-sale models include two variants—the Passenger Poer and the Commercial Poer—both retaining the overall design of their internal combustion engine counterparts, with only minor adjustments to details to align with their new energy positioning. The Passenger Poer features a large chrome grille, matrix LED headlights, multi-spoke wheels, and hidden exhaust tips, giving it a more luxurious SUV-like appearance. In contrast, the Commercial Poer is equipped with a rugged black grille, black plastic wheel arches, steel or minimalist alloy wheels, and all-terrain tires. Its interior retains physical buttons, uses durable fabric seats, and features rubber flooring, emphasizing practicality and durability. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle is expected to be equipped with Great Wall’s Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system, combining a 2.0T Miller-cycle engine with a P2 motor. This setup delivers a combined output of 300 kW and 750 N·m of torque, and is also expected to support a 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply function.
