BYD's Dynasty Network will launch pre-sales of its first D-segment flagship SUV, the Tang EV, at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, with official market launch planned for the first half of this year. The vehicle made its global debut on March 5, measuring nearly 5.3 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters. It features a 2+2+3 seating configuration, with independent second-row seats and overhead screens, and three seats in the third row. BYD claims the Tang EV offers over 6 square meters of usable interior space, delivering the highest "space efficiency" in its class. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo, the Tang EV adopts a full-domain 1000V high-voltage architecture, equipped with a flash-charging battery supporting a 10C charge rate and a 1000A charging current, enabling a peak charging power of up to 1,000 kW. The vehicle boasts a maximum CLTC-rated range of 950 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
