BYD's Fangchengbao brand will unveil its all-new FORMULA series at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, 2026, with the launch event scheduled for 9:40 AM that day and streamed live across all major online platforms. The debut model will be Fangchengbao’s first-ever sedan—a mid-to-large-sized sporty coupe exceeding 5 meters in length and featuring a sleek fastback design. The vehicle is expected to be equipped with a tri-motor powertrain, emphasizing "striking aesthetics, engaging driving dynamics, and superior handling." It may be offered in variants such as the "Fangcheng 7" and "Fangcheng 9." The sedan is also anticipated to come standard with BYD’s proprietary Flash Charging technology and was previously known internally by the codename "Magnesium 7." BYD confirmed that development of this sedan series is progressing steadily according to plan.
