The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition opened simultaneously on April 24, 2026, at the Shunyi Venue and the Phase II of the New China International Exhibition Center, covering a total exhibition area of 380,000 square meters. This year’s show featured 181 global and China premieres under the theme “Leading the Era, Shaping the Intelligent Future,” highlighting the latest advancements in new energy vehicles and intelligent driving technologies. BYD unveiled models including the Tang and the Sealion 08, equipped with advanced powertrains and intelligent driver-assistance features. Li Auto’s L9 debuted with an 800V fully active suspension system and in-house developed chips. NIO’s ES9 was equipped with a 5nm automotive-grade intelligent driving chip. XPeng showcased Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities with its GX model, while Xiaomi introduced the Vision GT concept supercar. Joint-venture and premium brands also accelerated their electrification strategies: BMW launched the long-wheelbase version of its next-generation iX3, and Audi unveiled the all-new A6L. The public visiting days will run from April 26 to May 3.
