NIO LeDao L90 Launches 30L Smart Trunk Cooler and Unveils Coconut 3.0 Upgrade Plan

On April 21, Leapmotor—a brand under NIO—announced at the L90 Intelligent Refresh Launch Event that the new Leapmotor L90 will offer an optional 30-liter intelligent trunk refrigerator, the only one of its kind in its class. The refrigerator features precise temperature control from -18°C to 10°C, remote control capability, and a "power-on-while-parked" function. It is scheduled to open for pre-orders and deliveries in the third quarter of this year and will be available as an option for all L90 owners. During the on-site demonstration, the refrigerator held 60 bottles of 246ml coconut water at once. Additionally, the Leapmotor L90 will receive a major Coconut 3.0 software update in July, bringing comprehensive upgrades to assisted driving, the AI cockpit, and chassis systems. The 2026 model-year L90 will debut with the Shengji NX9031 chip and a high-precision LiDAR sensor capable of detecting objects up to 220 meters away.
