On April 21, Sony, Honda, and their joint venture Sony Honda Mobility jointly announced that the three parties have reached an agreement on the future business direction and market positioning of the joint venture. The statement noted that, under the current framework, it would be difficult in the short to medium term to bring to market products and services that align with the founding principles of Sony Honda Mobility. Based on this assessment, the three parties have decided to temporarily review the company's existing structure and scale down its operations.
