Buick Zhi Jing E7 Launches from ¥154,900: Plug-in Hybrid SUV with 230km Electric Range

The Buick Zhi Jing E7 officially launched on April 22, with three variants priced between RMB 159,900 and RMB 199,900. Introductory promotional pricing ranges from RMB 154,900 to RMB 194,900. This plug-in hybrid SUV is available with two powertrain options: a 1.5L and a 1.5T hybrid engine, delivering combined system outputs of 237 kW and 280 kW respectively. It features a 32.6 kWh battery pack, enabling select models to achieve up to 230 km of pure electric range under CLTC conditions. The vehicle is equipped with a preview-based RTD continuously variable damping suspension system that scans road conditions in real time and dynamically adjusts damping settings. Its exterior design incorporates “wing-inspired” elements, including split-type Starry Wing headlights and a Shark Nose front fascia. Four exterior colors are offered: Pine Smoke Black, Satin Silver, Golden Sand Beige, and Distant Mountain Grey. Measuring 4,850 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, and 1,676 mm tall, with a 2,850 mm wheelbase, the E7 adopts a spacious five-seat layout and offers cargo capacity ranging from 650 L to 1,798 L. Inside, the cabin features an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD, supporting Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and CarLink smartphone integration. Two interior themes are available: Pine Smoke Purple-Black and Cloudy Elegant Beige. All four seats come standard with three-level heating and ventilation, while the front seats add multi-point massage and power adjustment functions. The rear seatbacks offer electric recline adjustment between 115° and 125°. For intelligent features, the E7 integrates the next-generation Doudou large AI model, enabling human-like natural conversation and multi-scenario vehicle control. Select trims are equipped with LiDAR and the Xiaoyao Smart Driving advanced driver-assistance system, powered by Momenta’s R6 reinforcement learning large model to support a wide range of driving scenarios.
