Zhang Xue Motorcycles has issued a recall notice for 286 delivered units of its 820RR motorcycles. According to the announcement, on April 16, an 820RR motorcycle in Yinchuan suffered a crankcase rupture. After the motorcycle was returned to the factory for disassembly and inspection on April 21, the root cause was identified as an incorrectly installed O-ring seal on the pressure relief valve. This defect caused the relief valve to loosen after extended use, resulting in oil pressure leakage, insufficient lubrication, and ultimately bearing seizure on the connecting rod. Zhang Xue Motorcycles urges all 820RR owners to immediately stop using their motorcycles and contact authorized dealerships to arrange towing and necessary repairs.
