On April 22, 2026, Autohome held a brand renewal launch event in Beijing, announcing a comprehensive upgrade of its brand strategy, product offerings, and technological capabilities. Under the theme “Trust, Embarking Anew,” the refresh encompasses an updated brand visual identity, a restructured mobile app, deeper integration of its new retail model, and the debut of an AI-powered digital avatar. Liu Chi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Autohome, stated that the platform is evolving from a single-source automotive information provider into an integrated one-stop service platform covering content ecosystems, new and used car transactions, and post-purchase vehicle services. Leveraging Haier’s ecosystem resources, Autohome has strengthened its content matrix, applied AIGC (AI-Generated Content) technologies to enhance original content productivity, and launched digital tools such as an AI-powered intelligent assistant powered by its self-developed “Cangjie Large Model,” driving seamless integration between online and offline services. The brand’s logo and mobile app have been simultaneously redesigned using a “round inside, square outside” design language, balancing users’ emotional connection with contemporary aesthetic preferences. The revamped app features an optimized homepage interface that streamlines user journeys and proactively recommends new cars, used cars, and promotional offers based on personalized user profiles, creating a seamless end-to-end service experience across the entire vehicle lifecycle—from browsing and purchasing to using and trading in vehicles. In transaction services, Autohome launched its e-commerce marketplace in November 2025 and plans to pilot an “online car-buying” feature in Shenzhen and Xi’an, enabling users to complete the entire process—including vehicle selection, order placement, financing approval, and invoicing—fully online. The platform has built a nationwide service network spanning authorized dealers in Tier-1 cities and secondary networks plus new energy channels in lower-tier cities, integrating doorstep vehicle delivery and standardizing fulfillment protocols. For its used car business, Autohome collaborates with “Che Er Shou Zhi Jia” (Used Car Home) and Cartech to establish a full-chain trust mechanism. The platform now offers an integrated ecosystem combining new car sales, used car trade-ins, and lifecycle vehicle services, allowing users to complete car purchases, trade-ins, financing and insurance arrangements, and after-sales appointments through a single entry point. Autohome also unveiled a new AI digital avatar, leveraging the Cangjie Large Model to deliver immersive vehicle showcases and personalized car recommendations, achieving over 90% match accuracy in intelligent suggestions. Additionally, the platform has launched an AIGC Creative Contest to drive automotive content toward greater technological sophistication and diversity. Complementary user engagement initiatives include weekly “Hardcore Friday” used car subsidy specials and new car price-guessing games, where users can participate via mini-programs to win rewards. Autohome will partner with OEMs, dealers, tech companies, and content creators to jointly build a transparent, efficient, and trustworthy automotive consumption ecosystem.
