EV Fire in Underground Garage in Shanwei, Guangdong; Firefighters Respond Swiftly, No Injuries

At 10:44 a.m. on April 22, 2026, a passenger vehicle began emitting smoke in an underground garage on Zhongxin Street, Houjing Village, Chengbei Road, Xiangzhou Subdistrict, Chengqu District, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. Upon receiving the report, the Shanwei Fire and Rescue Brigade dispatched seven fire engines and 45 firefighters to the scene, with both brigade- and battalion-level full-duty command teams simultaneously mobilized.
