The first production unit of the SAIC Audi E7X has officially rolled off the assembly line at SAIC Audi’s AUDI Intelligent Manufacturing Facility. The vehicle is scheduled to make its global public debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24 and will subsequently be delivered to SAIC Audi dealerships nationwide. Designed with Audi’s all-new generation of electric vehicle design language, the E7X is positioned as a “smart, premium five-seat SUV.” It features an all-aluminum chassis and Audi’s quattro intelligent all-wheel-drive system, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.97 seconds. The vehicle measures 5,049 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. It is equipped with a 109 kWh CATL battery—the industry’s first application of this capacity—delivering a CLTC-rated range of 751 kilometers. The entire lineup adopts a 900V high-voltage fast-charging architecture. In terms of powertrain, the single-motor variant delivers a maximum output of 300 kW, while the dual-motor version combines a 200 kW front motor with a 300 kW rear motor. The model has already launched its “Pioneer Program” for early adopters.
