On April 22, Voyah Auto launched the global pre-sale of its all-new model, the Taishan X8, in Beijing, with prices ranging from RMB 302,900 to RMB 389,900. Positioned as a five-seat large SUV, the vehicle measures 5.2 meters in length and features a wheelbase of 3,090 mm, offering a cabin area of 6.1 square meters. The interior is equipped with second-row dual zero-gravity seats and a fully automatic one-touch bed conversion function. In terms of intelligent features, the Taishan X8 is powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.2, dual 15.6-inch Huawei displays, an 896-line LiDAR, and Huawei’s Qiankun four-LiDAR intelligent driving solution, supporting advanced autonomous driving capabilities. The chassis adopts an all-aluminum double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension setup, complemented by a three-chamber air suspension, EDC Magic Carpet system, and ±16° rear-wheel steering, achieving a turning radius of just 5.4 meters. Powertrain options include both PHEV and EV variants: the plug-in hybrid delivers a pure electric range of 370 km and a combined range of 1,506 km, supporting 5C ultra-fast charging; the all-electric version offers a range of 727 km. A total of five trim levels are available across the lineup.
