During the Huawei Qiankun Technology Conference, the all-new Hongqi H9 made an appearance outside the venue. The vehicle features a four-LiDAR configuration, including a Huawei Qiankun 896-line LiDAR mounted on the roof and solid-state LiDAR units positioned at the front left, front right, and rear. It is also equipped with an AR-HUD system. At least six "Smart Driving Blue Indicator Lights" are installed across the car’s front fascia, side mirrors, and rear end. Previously, on April 19, FAW Hongqi teased its collaboration with Huawei Qiankun via an official Weibo post featuring the cryptic equation “H + H = ?” and confirmed the partnership, describing the two parties as “a fusion of classic elegance and technological excellence.” Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, had revealed during the 2023 Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Conference that FAW Hongqi had joined Huawei’s Qiankun alliance, though specific details were not disclosed at the time. Additionally, FAW Hongqi announced it will participate in the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, with its booth located in Hall A2 of the New China International Exhibition Center Phase II. The automaker plans to globally debut a futuristic sports coupe and simultaneously unveil several new models, including the next-generation Hongqi H9, the next-generation Hongqi H7, the production version of the Hongqi off-roader, and the TianGong S-Concept.
