The 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class was officially unveiled at the Mercedes-Benz Brand Day, held just ahead of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. As a mid-cycle refresh, the new model features upgrades to its exterior design, interior, and powertrain and chassis systems. Retaining the classic silhouette of an executive sedan, the vehicle exudes a composed and dignified presence overall, with refined details that enhance its futuristic appeal and sense of occasion. The front fascia sees significant changes: the grille is enlarged by 20% and now features four bold horizontal chrome bars, embedded with a 3D star-pattern emblem for added depth and sophistication. For the first time, both the grille surround and the upright three-pointed star hood ornament are equipped with self-illuminating functionality.
