On April 24, at Huawei's Qiankun Technology Conference, Dongfeng Motor Group and Huawei jointly unveiled YiJing—their new mid-to-high-end intelligent automotive brand—with the debut of its first flagship large six-seater SUV, the YiJing X9. Positioned as a flagship full-size SUV, the X9 measures 5,301 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm and features a golden head-to-height ratio of 0.618. In terms of exterior design, the YiJing X9 is equipped with Huawei’s million-pixel intelligent projection headlights, supporting the “Starry Path” welcome lighting animation and allowing users to remotely customize their own light signatures. At the rear, it features a 1.83-meter integrated full-width taillight embedded with 412 dual-color ISD interactive LEDs. Inside the cabin, the vehicle debuts Huawei’s dual 17.2-inch Butterfly Wing display setup, running the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit system based on HarmonyOS. It incorporates active-sensing cabin technology and supports voice interaction and scenario-based smart linkages. For intelligent driving, the entire lineup comes standard with Huawei’s ADS 5.0 advanced driver assistance system, featuring an 896-line LiDAR sensor and the Qiankun intelligent driving platform. This system enables comprehensive assisted driving across highway, urban, and parking scenarios and includes the CAS 5.0 collision avoidance system. The powertrain is built on Huawei’s XM intelligent electric drive platform. Safety features include seven-layer redundancy protection, an industry-first 2,400 MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel body structure, and multi-layer armored protection for the battery compartment, together forming a holistic, multi-dimensional safety architecture.
