At the Beijing International Auto Show opening on April 24, 2026, Nissan Motor will globally debut two plug-in hybrid concept vehicles. The first, the Terrano plug-in hybrid concept, centers on a rugged off-road design, carrying forward the series’ off-road heritage. It features high ground clearance, all-terrain tires, auxiliary roof-mounted spotlights, and four-wheel fender marker lights to optimize approach angle and off-road capability. Its exterior blends muscular body lines with a matrix LED lighting system, while its powertrain emphasizes a balance between all-terrain performance and ride comfort. The second concept is a plug-in hybrid SUV tailored for urban commuting. Its design adheres to the golden ratio of 0.618, incorporating hidden character lines and a continuous “Star Ring” light strip. It achieves an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.248 and is equipped with either a roof-mounted LiDAR or advanced perception cameras to support high-level intelligent driving functions. Powered by plug-in hybrid technology, it prioritizes pure-electric commuting and low-energy-consumption operation.
