At the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, BYD officially unveiled the Yangwang U8L Dingcang Edition—a full-size luxury flagship SUV. Featuring a four-seat layout, the vehicle is equipped with what’s dubbed “the widest zero-gravity seats in its class” and will offer exclusive customization services for customers. The 2026 Yangwang U8L is powered by BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology, delivering enhanced range. It introduces three new safety upgrades: Emergency Float Mode (automatically activated in water emergencies), NOA Blowout Stability Control (ensuring stable driving and stopping during tire blowouts), and comprehensive privacy protection across all scenarios. These features will also be rolled out to existing models via future OTA updates. The vehicle starts at RMB 1.3 million.
