On April 24, 2026, at the Beijing International Auto Show, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) and Huawei Qiankun signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to deepen their partnership. Their collaboration, previously focused on the "Three Intelligences" (intelligent manufacturing, advanced driver assistance, and intelligent cockpit), has now been upgraded to a broader, more in-depth strategic alliance spanning additional domains. The scope of collaborative vehicle models will expand from the HuaJing S to the entire HuaJing series, with more new models featuring Huawei Qiankun's intelligent automotive solutions set to launch in the future. As the first flagship model under the "Three Intelligences" collaboration, the HuaJing S will officially launch on May 8. All variants of the HuaJing S come standard with Huawei Qiankun’s ADS Pro Enhanced intelligent driving system, HarmonyOS Cockpit, and Qiankun Vehicle Cloud services. Future over-the-air (OTA) updates will enable support for Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro. The vehicle was unveiled and opened for pre-orders at the Leading Technology Preview Event on April 7, offering customers a RMB 1,000 deposit redeemable for RMB 5,000 off the purchase price, along with up to RMB 40,000 worth of eight exclusive ownership benefits. The HuaJing S measures 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm, and features a three-row, six-seat layout. Exterior color options include Black Jade, Ivory White, Agate Grey, and Amber Blue, while interior trims are available in Ivory Beige and Sandalwood Brown. Standard safety features include Huawei Qiankun’s full-dimensional active safety system, and the vehicle is among the first to adopt Huawei’s in-cabin LiDAR vision (Limera) solution. It supports urban Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA), Sentry Mode, NearLink digital key, and full-scenario cloud services.
