BYD announced that the global cumulative sales of the Yuan PLUS have surpassed 1.1 million units. Launched in 2022, the model reached 300,000 units in cumulative sales within just 14 months and hit the one-million milestone in 39 months, becoming BYD’s third model series—after the Qin and Song families—to surpass one million units sold. In the domestic market, the Yuan PLUS has consistently ranked among the top-selling A-segment SUVs since its launch. As BYD’s first strategic model designed specifically for the global market, the Yuan PLUS is now available in over 110 countries and regions and has claimed the top spot in pure electric vehicle (BEV) sales in multiple markets, including Singapore, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Sweden, and Israel. The third-generation Yuan PLUS made its global debut during the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, positioned as the “Yuan Power Smart & Fun Flash-Charging SUV.”
