Tencent Launches Full-Scenario AI Agent Open Platform for Automotive Industry

On April 23, Tencent hosted the 2026 TIME DAY · Tencent Smart Mobility Technology Open Day, officially launching its "All-Scenario Mobility Agent Open Platform" tailored for the automotive industry. The platform already serves over 100 automakers and mobility tech companies, with more than 50 leveraging Tencent’s overseas cloud services. Designed around high-frequency user scenarios such as commuting, travel, ordering, and entertainment, the platform offers ready-to-use agent products. In commuting scenarios, the On-the-Go Ordering Agent supports end-to-end services—from product selection and order placement to meal pickup—by analyzing users’ real-time itineraries and preferences to recommend optimal stores. It also calculates meal preparation timing based on the vehicle’s estimated time of arrival (ETA), ensuring meals are freshly prepared just as users arrive. For travel scenarios, the On-the-Go Guide Agent acts as a personalized AI tour guide, delivering real-time updates on points of interest, attractions, service facilities, and travel tips along the route. It now features a new fleet coordination management function that enhances group travel efficiency through location sharing, real-time voice chat, and service recommendations. In entertainment and services, the In-Car Entertainment Agent covers content such as music, news, videos, and short dramas, while the Vehicle Owner Services Agent integrates services including fueling, EV charging, car washing, roadside assistance, and valet parking. Built on an upgraded end-cloud collaborative cockpit large-model architecture, the platform deeply integrates capabilities like Yuanbao Search, WeChat Pay, and spatial intelligence. On the device side, it leverages a lightweight 0.8B visual language model (VLM) and a cockpit world model, achieving per-frame encoding latency under 100 milliseconds to ensure millisecond-level responsiveness for in-vehicle environmental perception. On the cloud side, it is the first to integrate the preview version of HunYuan’s large model, Hy3. At its core, the platform provides a full-stack toolbox covering agent orchestration, extension, and operations.
