As of April 2026, cumulative deliveries of NIO’s all-new ES8 have surpassed 100,000 units. The model has ranked first in sales across all passenger vehicle segments priced above RMB 400,000 for four consecutive months and holds a 47% market share in Beijing. The all-new ES8 is priced between RMB 406,800 and RMB 446,800 for full-vehicle purchase, or RMB 298,800 to RMB 338,800 with the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option. The Xuanjin Special Edition launched simultaneously is priced at RMB 456,800 for full purchase and RMB 348,800 with BaaS. Built on NIO’s full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the vehicle features dual motors delivering a peak power output of 520 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.97 seconds. It comes standard with a 102 kWh 4C battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 635 kilometers. For intelligent driving, it is equipped with 31 perception sensors, including three LiDAR units, enabling advanced driver-assistance capabilities across all scenarios. The cabin features a 48-inch 5K Horizon Display and the Lyra premium audio system with 27 speakers; the six-seater variant includes three zero-gravity seats. During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Qin Lihong, Co-founder and President of NIO, addressed concerns from some existing users regarding rapid product iteration. He acknowledged that technological advancements may temporarily cause a sense of disappointment among loyal customers but emphasized that halting updates would jeopardize the company’s long-term survival.
