At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Chery Group showcased 57 vehicle models and 31 technology exhibits. The brand’s new energy sub-brand, Fengyun, officially opened preliminary reservations for its first all-electric flagship model, the Fengyun A9. Customers who pay a deposit of RMB 599 will receive four exclusive benefits. Positioned as a “next-generation intelligent and stylish coupe,” the Fengyun A9 features an exterior design dubbed “Lingfeng Styling” and an interior theme named “Yangfan Yingyun.” It is equipped with the AI Boya Audio System, AI Lingxi Smart Cabin, Carmind AI Agent, and a 3nm 8678 chip. The vehicle also integrates the Falcon Driving Assistance System, supporting both urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), with a computing power of 128 TOPS. The Fengyun A9 is available in both all-electric and extended-range variants. The all-electric version measures 4,836 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width, and 1,489 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It rides on 235/45R18 tires, features a motor output of 178 kW, and is powered by a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The extended-range variant shares the same length, width, and wheelbase (4,836/1,896/1,491 mm and 2,900 mm respectively) and offers two LFP battery options: 19.527 kWh and 28.3 kWh, delivering WLTC all-electric ranges of 116 km and 175 km, respectively. It is equipped with Chery’s self-developed SQRH4G15 range extender, which delivers a maximum power output of 82 kW and achieves a combined fuel consumption of just 1.01 L/100 km.
