On April 24, Arcfox, a brand under BAIC Group, globally debuted its all-new electric family sedan—the Arcfox S3—at the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and simultaneously launched its pre-sale campaign. The vehicle is offered in three range variants: a 560 km CLTC charging version, a 660 km CLTC charging version, and a 535 km battery-swap version. With subsidies applied, the pre-sale price ranges from RMB 64,800 to RMB 125,800. The charging versions start at RMB 92,800, with the top-trim 660 ULTRA+ variant priced at RMB 125,800. The battery-swap version adopts a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model, lowering the entry price for the vehicle itself to just RMB 64,800, with a minimum monthly battery rental fee of RMB 399. Customers who place a RMB 2,000 deposit during the pre-sale period will enjoy exclusive limited-time benefits. The Arcfox S3 measures 4,916 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,876 mm. Its rear seats feature a 118° recline angle and an extended seat cushion measuring 485 mm. When the front seats are folded down, they create a flat, 1.8-meter-long sleeping space. The charging version achieves an ultra-low energy consumption of just 11 kWh per 100 km, translating to an approximate home-charging cost of RMB 0.06 per kilometer. The battery-swap version utilizes CATL’s “Choco Swap” battery-swapping technology, enabling a full battery replacement in as little as 99 seconds and delivering a range of 535 km after swapping.
