On the opening day of the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Yangwang unveiled two new models: the Yangwang U9 Xtreme "Breaking Dawn" and the Yangwang U8 L Dingzang Edition. The Yangwang U9 Xtreme "Breaking Dawn" is the world’s first mass-production-standard vehicle of its kind, limited globally to just 30 units. It features a micron-level ultra-fine gold powder paint finish, with matte gold sections crafted using China’s traditional intangible cultural heritage lacquerware polishing technique. The model also offers comprehensive personalization options. The Yangwang U8 L Dingzang Edition is an upgraded version of the Dingshi Edition, retaining core technologies such as Yi Si Fang (four-motor independent torque control), Yun Nian-P+ intelligent hydraulic suspension, flash charging capability, and BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. New additions include an exclusive Moyu Qing (Jade Ink Green) exterior color, a golden oracle bone script-inspired emblem, and 22-inch eight-spoke forged aluminum alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin debuts a new "Mingsha Gold" color scheme, with seats adorned with mountain-pattern embroidery. The interior adopts a spacious four-seat layout featuring dual zero-gravity seats and nine independent storage compartments, while the trunk offers a generous capacity of 512 liters. Customization services for this model are also now available.
