Yijing Auto made its global debut at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, unveiling its first flagship six-seater SUV—the Yijing X9. The vehicle is scheduled to officially launch in the third quarter of this year. The Yijing X9 debuts with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and comes standard across all trims with an 896-line dual-optical-path imaging-grade LiDAR, offering L3-level autonomous driving capabilities with full hardware and software redundancy. The cabin features Harmony Space 6, Huawei’s latest intelligent cockpit platform, equipped with dual 17.2-inch butterfly-wing displays for front passengers, HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projection, and the XiaoYi AI agent integrated with a multimodal perception system that supports functions such as pinch-protection inside the cabin and child presence detection. Underpinned by the Chitu platform—developed on Huawei’s XMC Qiankun Digital Chassis Engine—the X9 features an all-aluminum structure and has been fine-tuned with input from European engineering teams. Safety features include Huawei’s Qiankun CAS 5.0 comprehensive safety system, a body constructed with 2400 MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel, and a triple-layer bullet-resistant battery armor design. Measuring 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and with a 3,120 mm wheelbase, the X9 targets the premium luxury segment and is expected to be priced around RMB 500,000. Yijing Auto is a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Huawei Qiankun, established under a full-stack native co-creation model. The two partners have invested RMB 10 billion and assembled a 5,000-person joint team covering the entire product lifecycle—from definition and development to marketing. To date, Yijing has built a sales network spanning 80 cities nationwide, with 80% of its outlets converted or rebranded from former BBA (BMW, Benz, Audi) dealerships. Among China’s top 100 automotive dealers, 60% are already part of Yijing’s network. The brand plans to launch five new models over the next three years and aims to open more than 300 “Yijing Home” experiential stores.
